Today, we concluded a 4-days’ #TUSEME ToTs workshop of 50 students and 10 career counselors representing all campuses of the University of Rwanda & INES Ruhengeri. The workshop equipped them with skills that will help to create TUSEME Clubs at their campus.
The trained students & career counselors had an interactive session ; whereby they committed to actively using the TUSEME club as a platform to empower them positively & to raise awareness via campaigns against drug abuse, school dropout, unwanted pregnancy, poor academic performance, etc...
In her closing remarks, FAWE Rwanda National Coordinator Ms. Antonia Mutoro thanked all the participants & reminded them that the aim of TUSEME is to boost the ability of girls & boys to take responsibility for making good choices, resist negative pressures and avoid risky behavior.
